I was traveling recently, and the driver tuned to a radio station that played a nice piece of music in Yoruba. The song was so sweet that I asked him the meaning, and he told me, "Life is better."
He told me the musician was passing on a message that life
is sweet in every dimension and that people should enjoy life as it is. I asked
him if truly life is, and he said not really.
On hearing his reply, I engaged in a discussion with him and explained to him why I believe life is better.
Most people think life is not better because they take life
from their own perspective and imagination.
To see the sweetness of life, we must seek to understand
life itself. Those who seek to understand life from the perspective of God, who
created it, find it better. We should not live it in our own way but in the way
of God. Life is the greatest gift of God to man, and that is why he sent his
son so that we may have it in abundance if we seek to live according to his
design.
For life to be better, we must seek to understand our lives
through the eyes of God and not man. Man wants life to be at his bidding as if
he could control it. The fact that God has not given us the right to control
life means we must submit to his intent for it to be better.
Life must not be better only if we have all we need, because
being alive is the greatest gift on earth, and if you have life, then you have
more than anything this world can offer.
Make your life better by living according to God's design
and plan for you.
