ALWAYS BE READY TO REPAINT YOUR LIFE WITH THE HELP OF GOD.

I enjoined my collaborators recently to join me in the painting of our new office, not because I did not want to pay a professional painter but because I wanted them to experience the act of painting, which I know many have never done. I also wanted them to participate in the exercise that was meant to transform the office from what it was to what we wanted.

So, we acquired all we needed for the painting and decided when to do it.

One of them came to me and asked if we could do the painting by ourselves, especially as the walls were so dirty. I supposed the dirtiness of the wall discouraged him, and I told him, yes, we will, and he will be part of it.

On the day of the painting, as we started, everyone was impressed to be a participant in the painting of a wall. Some even took images and videos and shared them with their friends.

It was such a nice experience, as they had never participated in the painting of a house. They discovered that it was not as difficult as they thought. The more we got into the exercise, the more they enjoyed it.

In the end, I called them to my office and asked them to give their impressions about the job. They were happy to see that the walls that were so dirty were now clean and attractive. I saw such a great smiles on their faces, and I was happy that I had made them experience something in their lives.

I told them what they had experienced was a life lesson.

The walls were so dirty and unattractive before the painting. After the painting, you now enjoy its beauty and know that you are the ones who have made it look beautiful again.

I told them never to neglect anything because it is dirty but to look at its value. Anything that has value can be cleaned, no matter how dirty it might be.

Sometimes it just needs someone to have the courage to wash, paint, or vanish it and make it attractive again.

You may have experienced a lot in your life that makes you feel dirty and unattractive. Yet you are valuable in the eyes of God. God is ready at every stage of our lives to clean us up and make us attractive again.

He is the painter who is never tired of repainting us and giving us a new look if we submit to him and surrender all our burdens to him.

Happy Sunday.
